Hey peeps! For many many years, I've always felt that music was speaking to me. Literally. The things we go through in our day to day life is expressed in music - whatever the style. For me... house music has always been one of the genres that pushes itsself into my brain and says "listen, damnit, I'm trying to tell you something". I'm not talking about the "rawwwr - bwip - rawwww - deet - deet - deet" kind of house (which I still love), but the kind of house music that has real melodies, and most importantly, real words and song that tell a story about a time in someone's or many peoples lives. You should be able to relate to music and vise versa. For a long time now, I've been wanting to put together a mix of music that makes people feel happy to be alive, realize the things that are good, bad, and in between... the things that make you human. So I bring to you my latest compilation: T h e I n s i d e the inside (winter '09) Feels good to be alive kinda soul house music. Feb. '09 Every word - every beat and every soulful glow has a meaning. Listen carefully and relate. The beats n blends are simple (purposefully - no eq's or effects), so that we can focus on the words that are being spoken. This particular mix was inspired by a friend of mine who's been going through some rough times. Not only did I want this to cheer him up and make him feel less alone, but to spread the gospel to his students in hopes that he... and everyone else who listens, will have just that much better of a day. Thanks so much for all that have downloaded already.

House music on a timeline. Went diggin' through all my old tunes (yes, the vinyl kind!) and pulled out the tracks that were most pivotal in my growth into this house we all live in. Pardon some of the rusty n dusty static... these are some oldies. This is just my personal representation of the evolution of house music (as far back as I can remember hearing it). Some diamonds in here, people! Farley JMF, Mark Imperial, MAW, CZR, A Femme Fion, KC Flightt... so many more. Download, play and reminisce on the old days.

Of course, a selection of tracks and recorded back in September 2007... This particular groove set me off on an exploration of house music. Plenty of ear-happy tunes that I didn't even expect would work until I saved it! This is for those who dig the funk, the soul, the jack and everything in between.

Uh Jamm ownnn itt.
